Capua Bubble Room is the first bubble hotel in Campania: a handful of transparent bubble rooms, gently set inside a seven-thousand-square-metre orchard garden in the heart of the historic centre of Capua, right against the walls of the ancient Gran Maestrato San Lazzaro bastion.
What a bubble room really is
A bubble room is a quiet, climate-controlled transparent dome that lets you sleep surrounded by what is around you: here, lemon branches, sixteenth-century walls and a sky over Capua that can be extraordinarily full of stars. Inside there is everything you expect from a hotel room — king size bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, wi-fi — without the wall between you and the garden.
It is not a scenic gimmick. It is the most honest way we found to let people live this place: without building anything permanent, without moving a single tree, without asking nature to step aside.
“People in Capua have only heard about it. Very few have had the honour of walking in — and they were speechless.”
The Pastore Galderio family
Some families in Capua have a history woven into the city itself. The Pastore Galderio are one of them: one of the old noble families of Capua, keepers of an extraordinary property made of Villa Pastore Galderio and the orchard garden that now hosts the bubble rooms.
For more than a decade the whole property slept, quietly guarding its beauty. Then it woke up. Read the story of the house and the family →
Our idea of hospitality
- Few guests at a time. The garden is not a holiday village: it is a place you share on tiptoe.
- Zero impact. No concrete, local stone and materials, latest-generation eco-friendly systems.
- Absolute privacy. A private setting, closed by a gate, far from mass tourism.
- Local roots. Breakfast comes from the garden; the tips about the area come from people born here.
“We did not build something new. We woke up something ancient.”
